What is a Spiritual Keys Fair?

Choose any two 45 minute mini-workshops from the topics listed here to attend. Before and after each workshop, there will be plenty of time to hang out and visit with others if you'd like. If you are new to Eckankar, there will be a variety of free books and materials to take with you for further study.

The Spiritual Exercises of ECK

Unique to Eckankar are the Spiritual Exercises of ECK. Each workshop will offer you an exercise for that topic to try in the workshop and later on your own. As the workshop presentation will stimulate your thoughts and ideas, the Spiritual Exercise will help you to connect those thoughts and ideas to the innermost highest part of yourself—bringing together the heart and the mind for answers and insights to life's most burning questions.

Guest Speaker: Yves Brooks

Yves is a long-time student of Eckankar, and serves as an ECK cleric and as the Regional ECK Spiritual Aide (RESA) for British Columbia, Canada. He recently became an ECK Eighth Initiate. Having traveled extensively through Canada, Asia, Africa, and the US, sharing his love for the ECK teachings, he has gained a keen insight into Soul's journey home to God. His stories are filled with humor and humility and express the joy and wonder of God's love in daily life.

Now retired, Yves enjoys life with his wife Charee living on Vancouver Island, BC. He enjoys practicing martial arts, spending time in nature, and learning through reading and experiencing all life has to offer.

Let this theme inspire you to express your unique talents and love of the ECK through your creative abilities. ECK-inspired paintings (any medium), sculptures, pottery, jewelry, textiles, photographs, poems are all welcome. We will have supports for hanging framed works and tables for other pieces in the main room near the book table. All pieces must be ready to be hung or displayed. Original artwork by current students of Eckankar only, please. Up to 5 pieces can be submitted.

Past Lives

What if remembering your past lives was actually the easy part? Do you today have the wisdom to understand the lessons from a past life? Dreams

In Eckankar, dreams are real. They are real experiences in the inner worlds that can help you burn off karma, find real world answers to daily problems, and even help you to see future events to either embrace or avoid. Dreams are an important key to spiritual happiness in the teachings of ECK.

Soul Travel

Soul is an eternal spark of God: omniscient, omnipotent, and omnipresent. This means you don't have to wait until death of the physical body to experience the many levels of the heavenly worlds. Soul Travel can be a dramatic out-of-body experience, or very often, a simple expansion of consciousness—a greater understanding of the world around us. This expansion can be the key that opens a door to more divine love, and a happier you!

Light and Sound—How God Speaks to Us

What are the Sound and Light of God and what do they signify? The Light and Sound is the Voice of God in action. They are the expression of God's love for us. On the inner planes, the Sounds of God may be like musical instruments, birds, choirs, or even machines. All these are holy sounds that can help you more fully open your heart to God's love.

Inner and Outer Guides—The ECK Masters

The ECK Masters are simply Souls who have finished the journey home to God, then chose to stay and help others, such as yourself, on your own journey home. Each of us are on our own unique journey home to God, because we are each our own unique expression of God's love.

ECK Vidya—Ancient Science of Prophecy

The idea of prophecy is often looked at as a curious oddity, a fantasy or phenomenon to manipulate future actions for one's personal gain. But in Eckankar, the idea of prophecy is about learning to live from a higher state of consciousness, a higher awareness in fulfilling Soul's true destiny of becoming a coworker with God. It encompasses the past, present, and future. The ECK-Vidya is just one aspect of the ECK teachings.
